Talk about American Military Presence at Congress Center Ramstein
June 14 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pmFree admission!
The first American Occupation of Germany from 1918 to 1923 laid the foundation of a long relationship between the two countries. The historic background of this relationship, of the post-World War I period, is all but forgotten amongst the people of both nations. These four years were formative in terms of politics, economics, as well as social and cultural exchange. On June 14, American author and military historian Edward G. Lengel will address this first military presence of American troops in Germany and its effects on the occupation period after WWII. The event is organized by the Atlantic Academy Kaiserslautern in cooperation with the U.S. Consulate General Frankfurt and the project “Welcome to Rheinland-Pfalz”. It takes place at Congress Center Ramstein. The talk is held in English and starts at 6 p.m. until approx. 7.30 p.m. Admission is free! Please register via email at email@example.com or phone (0631-366100). You can find further information about the event on this website: www.atlantische-akademie.de
