Marilyn Monroe Exhibition at Historisches Museum in Speyer

The special exhibition presents actress, singer and style icon Marilyn Monroe – the most photographed woman of the 20th century. The exhibition focuses on a previously unlit private side of this unusual woman who still fascinates a huge fan community, even 56 years after her death. The Historisches Museum presents 300 selected individual items from the original private estate of Marilyn Monroe as well as from their contemporary witnesses. High-quality garments, accessories, care and styling products, props, private letters and film documents as well as photographs are displayed. The exhibition is supplemented with individual pieces by international collectors. Visitors immerse themselves in Marilyn Monroe’s world and see her most important stages of development and life. Please be aware that the exhibition does not contain any English translation. At the cashier English-speaking visitors can get an accompanying booklet to the exhibition in English free of charge. An accompanying booklet of the exhibition in English will be provided free of charge for English speaking visitors at the entrance.
