Knut-Festival in Hütschenhausen
January 11 @ 7:00 pm
Celebrating the “Knut-Festival” is a Swedish tradition to dispose of Christmas trees that are no longer needed. In association with the Hütschenhausen dog club the community of Hütschenhausen carries on this Swedish tradition and organizes a “Knut-Festival” for the 4th time this year. Visitors are invited to bring along their old Christmas trees without any decorations between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. For each delivered tree a Glühwein-coupon can be obtained. Your tree can also be picked up in front of your house if you register by January 8 here: firstname.lastname@example.org .The festival takes place on the premises of the dog club in the outskirts of Hütschenhausen and starts at 7 p.m. After the official opening, all collected Christmas trees will be burned down. Visitors can participate in a long throw competition of Christmas trees. The music band “Die Phönixkrechzer” presents live music. Glühwein (mulled wine), food and beverages are offered, too.
